White City is one of Canada’s fastest growing communities.
Today, nearly 6,000 people live in White City, the subdivision of Emerald Park or one of the adjacent residential or commercial developments in the Rural Municipality of Edenwold No. 158.
Our general residential and business area is a contiguous urban entity. We are friends and neighbours - divided only by two systems of governance.
We think it's time to unite as one urban municipal government.
One Community. One Voice.
A New Boundary to Bring Us Together
Currently, these two communities are governed by different municipalities[VC2] , one urban (White City) and one rural (RM of Edenwold), which controls Emerald Park.
Our goal is to move forward and unite these communities into one.
What is the Plan?
The current boundaries are confusing, make planning difficult and restrict growth.
